I never seem to have time to explore the nuances of photography liked I used to. In this age of digital design, computer-generated film effects, and video manipulation, the pure essense of photography is often neglected. A good photo holds a richer world than we see everyday.

Annette This is a portrait of my adopted step-grandmother in-law (the lawyers are still working it out). She is nearly 90, but with beautifully strong and well-defined features. Her eyes, in particular, have a luminosity that defies description.
Siren This picture shows an old friend in "disguise". She was young and anxious and very playful, nothing like the serious siren seen here. Photography is a chance to be someone else.
Grandma This is a picture of my grandmother, taken into the digital realm, where it can capture something of the wamth, style and color of her vibrant youth.
