| The Music and Books of Larry Sue
He has been ringing since
1987, and has been composing for bells since 1990. Although he can ring
any position on the table, he specializes in bass ringing (including
bass solos), and is the author of the Bass Ringer's Notebook. He
also has experience as a general-purpose handbell clinician and
festival/mass conductor. His interests continue to involve performance
and composition, and come together for him as the Artistic Figurehead of
Low Ding Zone, the World's First Bass-Only Handbell Ensemble. |

| Causerie "Causerie" is Cesar Cui's etude on triplets vs. duplets ("3 against 2"). Now for those of you in the know, "etude" usually equates to "exercise" which, in many cases, means "monotonous" or "boring" - but this etude isn't one of those. It's a truly lovely work that will charm both handbell ensemble and audience, and which will bring back memories of forgotten joys and happiness. Give a whirl, and take yourself back to wonderful times and places! 6 Octaves Handbells and 5 Octaves Chimes |

A Celebration of our Life Peter and Melinda Darbee commissioned this lively, joyous piece for their 30th anniversary celebration, and had their church's handbell choir premiere it when they renewed their vows. Fun abounds in this piece, not just because it's tremendous fun to play, but also it's a musical puzzle with elements of the score referring to the occasion - find them if you can! 5 Octaves Handbells and 3 Octaves Chimes |
